We model in Word and deed the incarnation of Jesus who left a place of comfort and came near to humanity. God pursues us in the Gospel, and the Church, therefore, should pursue the people of Richmond and around the world. CCOM is a place to be involved not to be a spectator. Come be a part of our mission.
Every Saturday morning (except 5th Saturdays) we send out teams of people to local, inner-city, housing projects. Through permission granted us by a parent and/or guardian, kids (ages 5-12) and teens (ages 13-18) ride back with us to church on our CCOM buses for a 1-2:15pm, age-appropriate, worship service.
In addition we provide them with lunch, coats and shoes if needed, and a birthday cake when that special day of the year arrives. Our Whosoever Bus Ministry and Chosen Youth worship gatherings are always a highlight of the week!

We have two Love of Jesus thrift stores. Our South store is located on our main campus, and the East store is located at 5158 Nine Mile Road 23223.
The mission of our stores is to provide quality essentials (furniture, electronics, clothes, etc...) to people in need at a reduced, affordable price. Relying completely on donations our thrift stores provide a clean, wholesome environment for people to shop, a place where the name of Jesus is proclaimed, and an important revenue source for our mission.
We invite everyone to come and shop, make donations, and help us to spread the word. If you need us to pick up your larger donation items, please contact our Call Center at 804.230.4144.
We take seriously Jesus' teaching on feeding those who are hungry. Distributing groceries to those in need three days a week, our Food Pantry is a satellite center for FeedMore in our zip code.
We provide groceries to over 500 people a week. Volunteers are needed to drive our delivery van, prepare grocery bags, and serve and minister to our guests.
For more information contact Kendell Combs or email us at .
Every Saturday afternoon we send our CCOM buses to a variety of neighborhoods to pick up families who want to join us for our 6pm Celebration Worship. Upon arriving our guests are able to get a bite to eat at our Cafe, enjoy an evening of worship, and leave with a couple bags of groceries.

Sharing the love of Jesus on the streets of Richmond is a regular opportunity at CCOM. On first and third Saturday mornings from 10am - 12pm teams of people head out to various locations around the city to provide food, blankets, and conversation with people about Jesus. Everyone is welcome.
If you want to join us, please meet in the main lobby at 9:45am on the next first or third Saturday and look for the Soul Winning Soldiers.
If you want more information prior to your first time, please contact Pastor Rob or email us at
The Midlothian Turnpike corridor near CCOM is known to be a stronghold of drugs and prostitution. As a way to bring light into darkness we have established se7en prayer stations along Midlothian.
We encourage people to regularly walk the stations praying for God's blessing and goodness to abound, replacing the darkness that has prevailed for decades. Prayer postcards to guide your walk are available at the welcome centers in the main lobby or in the office lobby.
Prior to your first time joining us, we ask that you attend a brief orientation. Please contact Tammy McClure or email us at .
In addition to Bike Repair Ministry, CCOM also conducts outreaches called Celebration on the Streets. Usually on Sundays from 11am - 1pm, the outreaches take place in various neighborhoods of the inner city of Richmond. The outreaches include kids' activities, clothing give away, music, food, trash pick up, prayer walks, and soul winning.
For a schedule of these outreaches see Upcoming Events under Church Life or call the main church office at 804.675.4101 or email at .
In the spring and summer CCOM repairs bicycles for kids in various neighborhoods in the inner city of Richmond. This is a practical way that we show love and bless those in the neighborhoods. This ministry is usually scheduled for Fridays (4-6pm) or Sundays (11am-1pm). Please contact with any further questions.
God has created us to be His temples for the dwelling of His presence. We encourage people to, therefore, be responsible with their bodies through our Fitness Center.
Our large, state of the art Fitness Center is only $20/month for unlimited use during operational hours which are Monday - Saturday from 6:30am-8:30pm. We are closed on Sundays, Thursday nights during Bible Study, and Saturdays during Celebration Worship. Come and enjoy a work out with us!
